Overview
As a busy and ambitious professional, you may want the range of skills and expertise that an MBA can provide, but do not have time to accommodate the schedule of a less flexible MBA programme. Firm on standards and quality, the MBA programme at the Mountains of the Moon University, is the premier qualification for individuals wishing to progress to strategic levels in their organizations. It aims to provide a rigorous grounding in the key elements of knowledge, skills and understanding necessary for participants to operate effectively as strategic general managers in a business environment. It is blended distance learning with high quality learning materials and access to tutors and fellow participants.
A practical approach
The Master of Business Administration programme at Mountains of the Moon University is specifically designed to provide an intellectually demanding and rigorous programme that enables you to study through a combination of case studies, lectures, project work, simulations, and group and individual study.
You work towards your MBA on a course-by-course basis. After completing seven courses, together with two other practical-based courses, you are eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration, and after nine courses, together with the two other practical-based courses, for a Postgraduate Diploma. The certificate and diploma awards are formal recognition of your progress; they can also be used as exit awards. Specialist awards are available at diploma and MBA level depending on your choice of courses. The MBA award will be given upon completion of the dissertation.

COURSE CONTENT
The Master of Business Administration degree consists of two years of study along with the completion of a dissertation.
The course is made up of core management units, one pathway specific unit and five areas of specialism. In addition to the taught curriculum, students complete a research project relating to their specific field, which is written up as a dissertation at the end of the degree programme.
