Mountains of the Moon University (MMU) 14 new staff were on Wednesday 6th March 2024 at the Main Hall Block C took an official oath and oath of secrecy. Led by the Deputy Director of Human Resource Management Joseph Byaruhanga, explained that the Human Resource Directorate must orient and ensure all new staff take official oath and oath of secrecy.
His Worship Mushime Moses administered the process of official oath and oath of secrecy, he noted that “the process of official oath and oath secrecy not only binds an employee to the University loyalty and direction but rather a testament of trust, underscoring respect for privacy and ethics.”
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pius C. Achanga implored and directed that all the sworn in staff observe the core values of the University and behave professionally. He requested them to always dress decently and carry the University Identification Cards always for easy identification.
The following were the new staff who participated in the swearing exercise: Perez Mwebesa Deputy University Secretary; Obita Godfrey Deputy Director Procurement and Disposal; Namuli Susan Deputy Director Internal Audit; Oala Simon Peter Principal Accountant; Businge Patrick Senior Human Resource Officer; Mustafa Nsubuga Senior Sports Officer; Kisu Yahaya Lecturer Procurement and Logistics; Ben Muthahinga Administrative Secretary; Sam Obunaka Library Assistant; Deo Mutegeki Assistant Inventory Officer; Eric Wolford Driver; and Judith Kabasitta Office Attendant.
